Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something (Tacori) Blue...

Most everyone is familiar with the special wedding day tradition of "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue". The bride adds something from each category to her look on her special day. These four items represent good luck charms usually given to her by family or friends. Jewelry usually comes into play with this long standing tradition, and below are the following ways Moyer Fine Jewelers has the bride covered: Something Old Something old can encompass a lot of things, but we've found jewelry to be a favorite.  Usually an old piece of jewelry (be it grandmother's old diamond ring, your mother's pearls, etc.) will need to be cleaned, polished and/or refurbished before it takes center stage on the big day. We can help! We clean most jewelry while the client waits, but if it needs more TLC, our studio can have it turned around in a few days. Something New On the wedding day, the bride and groom usually send gifts to each other while getting ready for the ceremony. Again, jewelry tends to be a popular gift for both the bride and the groom. Watches are normally a groom favorite. When it comes to picking out a significant other's gift, our sales associates are a great asset. Something Borrowed  Someone special in the bride's life will usually let her borrow a piece of jewelry that is meaningful and has a story to go with it. If the bride's "something borrowed" happens to be jewelry, we can clean, polish, and/or refurbish it. We will also make sure it fits properly for the ceremony. Something Blue We have endless options at Moyer to fulfill the "Something Blue" category, but one of our collections in particular was literally made for this category. Tacori offers a wide range of elegant pieces in their "Something Blue" collection that look stunning with a white gown. This collection is perfect for the bride who wants jewels to cherish, long after her wedding day. Below are some of the pieces that make up Tacori's "Something Blue" collection.
