https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2VULllcTpQ The Hublot Techframe Ferrari 70 Years Tourbillon Chronograph was designed to celebrate the partnership between Hublot and Ferrari. The Techframe is a watch that combines the heart of Hublot and the soul of Ferrari. The Techframe Ferrari 70 Years Tourbillon Chronograph was released at Baselworld 2017, and is limited to only 70 pieces worldwide in King Gold, Titanium and PEEK Carbon. Moyer Fine Jewelers, an authorized dealer of Hublot, will have only 1 of 6 King Gold models in the United States! Designed by Ferrari's Head of Design, Flavio Manzoni, the watch was imagined using the processes of building the luxury sports car- from the engine outward. The lattice structure of the watch- a tribute to Ferrari design- is meant to provide strength while minimizing the weight of the watch. The crown, made with the signature prancing horse of Ferrari, appears at 4 o'clock as to make the watch more aerodynamic and to make it the smallest possible size. The red push button is located just above the crown for ease of use- even when driving. The blackened components in the skeleton dial were chosen to give the watch legibility. The Ferrari logo is displayed at 9 o'clock, and the Hublot logo appears at 5 o'clock. A black block designed by Ferrari holds a race-inspired twin half-second counter at 3 o'clock, the minutes counter at 11 o'clock and the column wheel at 1 o'clock.

Building the Watch

The team at Hublot then brought the design to life by utilizing their knowledge of watchmaking and materials. The Techframe Ferrari 70 Years Tourbillon Chronograph is available in King Gold, Titanium and PEEK Carbon, a material made from Carbon fibers that is hypoallergenic, durable and reliable. The caseback is engraved "Limited Edition, No. XX/70" and "Ferrari 70 Years". Under the frame are 253 components that form the Tourbillon Chronograph. The Tourbillion Chronograph is powered by the HUB6311 calibre movement with a 5 day power reserve. The HUB6311 movement was designed and manufactured by Hublot. The single push-button chronograph is revered among watchmakers as one of the best. Find your Hublot Techframe Ferrari 70 Year Tourbillon Chronograph at Moyer Fine Jewelers.
