On October 27th, we welcomed staff members and donors of the Indianapolis Zoo for an auction preview event prior to their Elegant Vintages fundraiser. Guests enjoyed fine wines, hors d'oeuvres provided by Ritz Charles, and, of course, jewelry! Each year, Moyer Fine Jewelers hosts staff members and donors of the Indianapolis Zoo for an auction preview event for their Elegant Vintages Fundraiser. At the event, guests enjoyed fine wines, hors d' oeuvres provided by Ritz Charles, and, of course, jewelry. A member of the committee spoke about the event, touching on event sponsors and Lemurs, the focal point of this year's event. All of the wines up for auction at the March event were also on display. One of the more special bottles is estimated to sell for as much as $10,000 at the event! At the conclusion of the evening, several raffle items were given away including 2 $500 gift certificates to Moyer Fine Jewelers! About Elegant Vintages Elegant Vintages is Central Indiana's premier annual wine extravaganza! On March 25, 2017, connoisseurs of fine wines are invited to our 19th annual Elegant Vintages International Wine Auction presented by Fifth Third Private Bank at the Conrad Indianapolis. All of the proceeds from this amazing evening helped to fund the care and feeding of more than 1,400 animals and 31,000 plants in the collection at the Indianapolis Zoo. The 2017 Fund-a-Need will focus on lemurs, which are currently facing extinction in their native land of Madagascar. Featuring selections of fine and rare wine from around the world, this elegant, black-tie-optional event includes both live and silent auctions. Auction lots in 2017 will include many non-wine items such as unique gift packages, magnificent dinners, luxury get-aways, fine jewelry, original art, sports memorabilia, one-of-a-kind sculptures, behind-the-scenes tours at the Zoo and more! Guests also enjoy a multi-course gourmet dinner paired with exquisite wines and live entertainment following the auction, and there are several ticket levels from which to choose. Patron level ticket goers enjoy access to the Turkle & Associates and Phases Skin Care & Laser Center VIP Patrons' Reception. Patron level guests also receive upgraded wine and champagne served during the cocktail hour and are the first to bid on silent auction items. For the ultimate experience, there is the Connoizooer level for true oenophiles to enjoy all of those benefits plus premium seating and premium wine with dinner.
